Elevating the
Airship Industry

As Canada and the world evolves, we face converging crises and unprecedented challenges. Climate change is transforming our perspective on future transportation, urging the adoption of greener technologies. The melting permafrost and unreliable ice roads threaten northern, remote, and rural logistics, complicating the movement of goods and personnel.

Food security and housing challenges undermine the incredible human potential of those living in remote areas. Defending the Arctic has become urgent, yet difficult without adequate infrastructure. Additionally, critical resources in the remote places of Canada demand efficient transportation solutions, and climate change brings stronger and more frequent disasters, such as wildfires and extreme weather events.

The Solution: Airships, Hybrid Air Vehicles, and Aerostatic Technologies

The next generation of airships and Lighter-Than-Air (LTA) vehicles are taking to the skies. Visionary international efforts are rethinking aviation and enabling access to remote areas. Canada will be at the forefront of this adventure.

CANHAV Alliance: Connecting the Airship Industry

We bridge the gaps between technological innovation, progressive governance, infrastructure development, public relations, and capital investment.

Our Mission Begins Here:

Foster Innovation

We prioritize the development of airship and aerostat technologies and services, emphasizing safety and environmental sustainability. Collaborating with industry leaders and stakeholders, we aim to push the boundaries of possibility while ensuring minimal environmental impact.

Empower Communities

Our mission is to support local communities, and we centre on our special relationship with Indigenous, Métis, and Inuit peoples. Through meaningful engagement and partnerships, we strive to maximize the socio-economic benefits of airship and aerostat operations for communities that will benefit from their use, guided by principles of trust and reconciliation.

Enhance Public Safety

We are dedicated to developing policies and capabilities that prioritize domestic public safety, regional disaster and emergency management, and international humanitarian logistics. Leveraging our expertise and resources, we aim to contribute to a safer and more resilient society, both at home and abroad. We believe in the peaceful use of airship technologies and advocate for their ethical design, construction, and use.

Navigating the Future: The CANHAV Alliance Vision

Airship technologies deliver a variety of essential services with low emissions and minimal infrastructure compared to conventional transportation. These innovations have the potential to transform supply chains for remote and rural communities, connecting people in new ways. Numerous international companies are developing these technologies, with several prototypes already in the skies and billions invested in research and development worldwide. We believe Canada is the ideal place to develop and nurture these technologies, ushering in a new era of security and prosperity with low-emission air transport options for logistics, tourism, defence, and disaster relief.
